West Adams is hosting their second annual Día de Los Muertos Festival on November 2, 2024 and I was able to create Sketchup Designs to assist with the mapping out and rendering of the Art Gallery and Community Altar

Art Gallery: Abrazo Eterno (Eternal Embrace) – From Mourning to Memories

Community supports the important, empowering transition into acceptance of loss and the celebration of life. The Art Exhibit Abrazo Eterno (Eternal Embrace) is a love letter to the tradition of Día de Los Muertos, the community that comes together, and the loved ones lost, remembered, and embraced.

The West Adams Dia de Los Muertos Block Party Festival, organized by Midcity Mercado and the City of Los Angeles Council District 10, will take place on November 2nd, 2024. Now in its second year, the festival will transform West Adams into a lively celebration with live music, food trucks, art exhibitions, live mural painting, a Ferris wheel, and a beautifully designed community altar. This event is family-friendly and open to all ages, offering a variety of free attractions and activities.

Last year's event was a great success, drawing over 25,000 attendees, and we anticipate an even larger turnout this year. As we continue to make this a free event for the community, we are seeking partners who share our vision and can help us create a memorable experience.

I was tasked with creating the 2000+ foot map that spans 5 large blocks in Sketchup.
